So, What Is a Mommy Kickback?

I want to tell you about the Mommy Kickback.

A Mommy Kickback is where moms just kick it. We talk, we laugh, we cry, we dance, we complain, and we do whatever else helps us release. No agenda for perfection. No performance. Just us.

We kick back so we can kick start. We come together to let it all out, so we can walk away with the courage and the energy to face the next thing on the list. And there is always a next thing on the list.

Motherhood comes with some unspoken occurrences. You can be surrounded by people who love you and still feel like nobody in your world actually gets it. Nobody in your personal circle is living what you're living, not the way you're living it. So you carry it quietly.

The Kickback is where you get to put it down.

Even if no one else in your life understands, you come to the Kickback knowing this: at least my girls at the kickback will. They've been there. They're in it right now. And there is something that happens in a room full of women who just know, without you having to explain a single thing.

This is the space in the whole mommy equation where we come to do everything, and have all the answers for once.

Who it's for

All of us. Every kind of mama.

The mommies-to-be, still carrying and wondering what's coming. The brand-new mamas, deep in the fog of those first months. The mama mommies who've been doing this for years and still need a room where they can exhale.

How it works

The Mommy Kickback happens a few times a year. It's less of a meeting and more of a gathering, the kind you leave feeling lighter than when you walked in. We come together, we release together, and we send each other back out steadier than we came.
