A doula of six years, a devoted mother and wife, and a passionate community advocate. She has served on multiple boards and remains deeply connected to the community she calls home. Breonna takes great pride in serving mothers through every stage of pregnancy, with a unique and purposeful calling to support women during the postpartum period.

Through Dolah Me After Care, Breonna leads with compassion, integrity, and a vision rooted in healing, dignity, and sustained support for mothers beyond birth. Her lived experience and professional dedication continue to guide DMAC’s mission and growth.

Vice President

Niner Davis is a Rochester native, devoted mother, and accomplished real estate broker who is deeply committed to community improvement and service. She has dedicated her time and leadership to numerous boards and nonprofit organizations, working tirelessly to help strengthen and uplift the communities she serves.

Niner brings a strong sense of advocacy, strategic thinking, and community-centered leadership to DMAC. Her lived experience as a mother, combined with her passion for service and deep roots in Rochester, make her an invaluable asset to our mission and vision.

Secretary

Tia S. Moore is a passionate nonprofit professional, storyteller, and community advocate who believes deeply in the power of people, purpose, and possibility. With over five years of experience in fundraising, social media, and event coordination—and more than a decade in customer service—she brings both strategy and soul to every space she enters.

Tia has served as the Social Media and Fundraising Manager for a local campaign and as the Development Coordinator for the CNY Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Alliance, where she helped amplify voices, build meaningful relationships, and move missions forward. She currently serves as the Director of Development at Starbridge, continuing her commitment to equity, access, and community-centered impact.

At the heart of her work is a deep belief in showing up authentically, honoring lived experiences, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Treasurer

Dr. Adeanna Tazell is a scholar and not-for-profit professional whose work centers on improving Black maternal health. She authored her dissertation, “Guarding the Black Womb: A Qualitative Case Study Exploring Improving Black Maternal Health Through Increased and Equitable Doula Support,” while earning her Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University.

Her research highlights the critical role of culturally competent doula care in addressing systemic maternal health disparities. Active in leadership and community health initiatives in the Rochester, NY area, Dr. Tazell has completed programs such as Leadership Rochester and leadership coaching, further demonstrating her dedication to transformative leadership and community impact.

Digital Marketing & Communications

Alexis Armstrong serves on the DMAC Board as part of the Marketing and Communications team. She is a creative strategist and photographer with over a decade of experience supporting nonprofit and community-based organizations through storytelling, brand development, and outreach.

In her role, Alexis helps amplify DMAC’s mission by strengthening visibility, supporting community education, and ensuring that DMAC’s messaging reflects the care, dignity, and support we provide to mothers during the postpartum period.

Accountant

Jessica Spencer supports Dolah Me After Care as our Accountant, helping ensure financial transparency, accountability, and sustainability as we continue to grow. Her role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our operations and stewarding resources in service of our mission.
